You may want to change 1.1 of the quick start with CVS, according to Jer you
no longer tie the user ids to cvs, so you have to go in as anoncvs.

I'm sorry.. this is a fictional namespace. We were using it as an example,
but as I'm going through the documents now (for a new Developer's guide), I
realized that we didn't make that abundantly clear.
