"Dude" that's not the point.

a) It was provided as a URL. Therefore one visits in a browser, and since it is
of a MIME-type native to the browser it is displays internally. Okay maybe if
I used lynx...

b) plain text is inherrantly white-space sensitive (while some editors will
wrap (I have many)). It is not good practice to rely upon it.

c) It's a doc that was made public, RFC'd. It should be in format
that is readily legible to as many as possible, w/o any conversion
or special tools. What if I sent you to a doc in EBDIC?
