  Are you going to be punching thru the firewall for socket connectivity, or is 
it a true blue proxy?  Firewalls and proxies are two different things..  
Firewalls you can punch thru will function fine, as the outside can get to you 
normally, as long as that port is listed as openable.

  HTTP proxy, I'd stay outside it for now..  Move it inside later, when you're 
sure..
