I believe this client is the instant messenger Webb did for Corel. It is
based on the 0.6 series (not compatible with 0.7, although I think erbo is
working on that for webb.. but thats heresay on my part, I enjoy starting
rumors..). The ICQ support it has is also a feature that was in 0.6 that
is just now getting closed to being supported in 0.7, which is why I'm
pretty sure it still uses the old protocol.

As far as webb releasing the code.. I guess you would have to ask them :)

If you would like a 0.7+ compatible client, you will have to wait. I'm
hoping to get some new source in jabber CVS by the end of the weekend,
however there is a ton going on with my life right now (including a
serious deadline with my employer on Friday) which may hinder that.
