Hehe, the easiest way for any of you to include libxode is to do this:

     --with-libxode=/usr/local

or whatever path it is.  I put this in just for the reason of libxode being in
a different path than the install prefix.  Note, you must use the dir that
contains both lib and include, not --with-libxode=/usr/local/lib

I will make sure all the error messages better reflect this macros
availability.

I'll also check why profiling got enabled.  That is odd.
