[JDEV] license?

This is a great point.

I don't want to get involved in something that is not a standard open
effort.

If there is not a true License Published then there are no guarantees
regardless if there is a published "team effort".

Could someone who has experience with open efforts shed some light on if
this Jabber effort is adhering to the standard open source methods?

I don't say this to pun the team in any way -- I'm very excited about
this -- but on the other hand, I've learned to be careful these days.
