[JDEV] Question about licensing

Actually, If your code uses a library under GPL, then your code has to be
GPL too. If we don't want to put this restriction on our users, we have to
explicityl state that "As an exception to the terms of this license, you
may link non-GPL code against this library." Or something simial. IANAL.
