Why not modify the Perl or Tcl's teams sample Tk clients for your purpose?
It should be a day's work. Also you can contribute your volunteer time
towards helping the Perl package handle extensions like MIME and modify
the sample client to anticipate the handling of AIM/ICQ users. I don't
think that warrants another team. But it sure doesn warrant another
script. IMHO. -- Li
