Sorry, I just realized how I could search JUST the web archives with Google (using site:http://mail.jabber.org... ). Now seems I'm finding what I need... seems maybe I need to look at using private XML storage:

http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0049.html

Although xml "storage" gives me the impression that it just storing -- but I think it means sending and receiving as well.
I am writing a custom XMPP app with chat, but now I want to transfer data (xml)
in addition to regular chat. I want to be able to utilize all of the existing jabber data and connections etc...

On the other hand, I don't to complicate chat communications by having "non
chat" communication in the same stream of data. For example, I don't want a user to see
this data in their chat logs etc. Who knows what other complications would arise.

I don't even know where or how to
search to get help on the best way to do this. Any ideas?

--
Will Gardner
Super Alerts
Website: http://www.superalerts.com
