vitor, I had tried this quite a few servers the prominent bieng ejabberd. I have also tried this with  many open XMPP IM systems which include j<a href="http://abber.org">abber.org</a> ,<a href="http://movsoftware.com">movsoftware.com</a> , evn GTalk and our own internal IM at my organization. I also did have a bug similar to the one mentioned here but that was not because of the server , it was due to my Client calling deny somewhere in the program which i handled later.
