[jdev] GSOC'13 - Introduction

Hey,

I am willing to take up a project under XMPP for GSOC'13. I am a proficient
programmer in Java and C++. I want to familiarize myself with the source
code, and do a little contribution before the application deadline. Where
can I get the source code? Will there be any Java projects this year?
Also, please suggest some easy hacks which can be done by a beginner.
