Hello Matthew,
Your're right. Beamster cannot be used to connect to any XMPP server,
because it heavily relies on a plugin that I wrote, which is installed on
my XMPP server.
In this case, it might not fit so well to this list.
All the best,
Philipp

I think the question is, can I use Beamster to connect to any XMPP
server? (e.g. public servers like jabber.org, or my own personal
server)
If that's not possible then it's not really suitable for the list,
which is used by people looking for a client for their platform to
connect to an XMPP service. We should probably have a separate list to
showcase platforms that are powered by XMPP, and the XSF should
probably do more case studies and that kind of thing.
However if Beamster *can* connect to a server of the user's choice,
accept our apologies for the confusion, and it can certainly be added
to the list.
Regards,
Matthew
