It's well-known that many multi-featured clients support SIP for voice
and video but use XMPP for messaging and presence. Emil Ivov, Enrico
Marocco, and I have written an Internet-Draft containing
recommendations for implementing and deploying such clients. If you've
developed such a dual-stack client, we'd love to receive your
