[jdev] is everybody using XMPP without knowing it?

Thanks a lot for the reactions. I have been trying to confirm the
suggestions made. I came up with the following list:

- fb: XMPP interface
- microsoft live messenger: XMPP interface
- Android Cloud to Device Messaging (C2DM) (old system): Runs over GTalk
- Google Cloud Messaging for Android (GCM): could not confirm, runs
probably over GTalk
- Whatsapp: uses modified version of XMPP
- Skype: XMPP interface
- Apple iPhone notifications: use port 5223, but no XMPP

Additions/corrections are welcome!
