[jdev] JID Validation

Hello

I want to check if a XMPP Address is valid.
My hopes are that I don't have to reinvent the wheel (and don't have to
read the RFC) by using some available open source code for this.
Unfortunatly I couldn't find any code or useable regex.
I'm sure somebody has done this before. Would somebody be so kind and share
his code with me / us? :)
