[jdev] is everybody using XMPP without knowing it?

facebook exposes a very limited XMPP interface which, as per their docs,
"proxies" into the "world of facebook chat"... for example, no custom
namespace tags with FB. Google's server on the other hand would even accept
and successfully transmit a moderately sized desktop image snip embedded
in custom namespace tags message stanza to the peer
