[jdev] Info required for JID (<localpart at domainpart/resourcepart>)

Hi folk,

            I am new to the XMPP.

I have a query regarding the JID.

What is the "localpart" and domainpart of JID ??

Who create the JID ??

Does Ii could be anything like a mail-id or it is specific to XMPP
server/client. ??
