Hi.

I've been working on mod_purple.erl module for ejabberd some time ago. 
Unfortunately, one of the components I used is proprietary still. I asked 
code owner to publish it as free one, he agreed but... it is still not done 
yet. So if anybody interested - please contact me at snakeru at gmail.com 
(either xmpp or email) so that I can outsource rewriting of that module to 
you. Module is in C, currently it is 705 lines of C, 26k of code. I guess it 
would be enough to have something like 400 lines/15k when I can take it over 
(if you don't want to continue developing). This work will be GPL2+. No money 
would be paid for it but you will hold copyright etc - just as with any other 
free project.

The purpose of mod_purple is to integrate libpurple.so with ejabberd - so that 
xmpp/icq/msn/yahoo/aim/whatever can be bridged. IOW - that is an alternetive 
project to py****-t
