[jdev] Functional testing

We're looking for a simple way to fire off test stanzas against our
location API and check the results.

Does anyone know of a good functional test harness that would lend
itself to being scripted and run on a regular basis?

Simple is better.  One proposed solution was using Ruby and xmpp4r but I
would prefer to avoid re-inventing the wheel.
