[jdev] XEP-0174 (Link-local) support in Smack

I am interested in setting up XMPP on an ad-hoc network. I have read
through the XEP-0174 standard and the idea seems great. Has anyone else
gotten this to work on smack? I am looking into it now.

Also, does anyone know if the XEP-0174 would allow offline messaging,
ie persistence, like a server based implementation would allow?
