   Why? Isn't that what HTTP is for?

Why ?

Some reasons:

1. for fun
2. to just have something cool to demo at my next LUG meeting
3. I am more likely to use XMPP services than any other service
(I am even connected 24/7 with my jid via my mobile)
4. I'd like to test/implement XEPs in real life
