Hi,
I'm thrilled to announce the release of xmppony 0.1.
xmppony is an XMPP library released under GNU GPLv3. It's a fork of xmpppy,
which was in turn a fork of jabber.py.
Why a fork? Because xmpppy was almost dead in the last 2 years. Because there
are so many things which do not suit me (like the lack of PEP 8-compliance, the
lack of file transfer support, the coding style, the hierarchy of the code, the
"plugin" system, the simulation of heritage, etc.).
This first release is a drop-in replacement for xmpppy, with some bugs fixed and
file transfer added, but next releases will swap a lot more things around.
