Hi, I'm Zack Sargent, and I'm not a developer ... but I need one.

Anyone in the St. Louis area (or willing to move to the St. Louis area ... or even barely willing; I've moved several folks from out of state, already) that has a good grasp on Jabber/XMPP and can do some heavy lifting in C, PHP, MySQL, SIP or VOIP, and a pinch of networking would be an ideal candidate to join our dev staff.

We have an idea for a next-generation telecom provider that we would love to get some help on. The programmer/developer/architect would help us build a new national SIP services fabric that allowed customers to use voice in ways AT&T won't think about for another 10 years. Voxitas already has a national service footprint, but we see the SIP revolution as more than just "dialtone over IP." XMPP is a tech we have an eye on as helping voice integrate with things over the next several years, not just converging onto a copper wire, but converging into collaboration apps and IM and VNC and business intelligence engines and so on ...

It's a 40+ hour/week position, salary paid based on what you know/experience you have. We're looking for the right person, so if that's you, we can talk about the "sordid topic of coin" once that's been established.
