No, the point he was trying to make is that his admin will be unlikely 
to allow direct port mappings from the internet into the intranet (quite 
rightly as that would defeat the point of having a DMZ in the first 
place), the solution I suggested allows the port mappings to go into the 
DMZ and then the connection managers in the DMZ to connect to the core 
server on the intranet which avoids the direct mapping from the internet 
to the intranet.
