Hello all,

I'm interested in using jabber with javascript, and read that two
libraries existed (I found them here
http://www.jabber.org/software/libraries.shtml ).  xmpp4moz seemed
good, so I downloaded xmpp4moz and had a look through the code.
However, I would like a  few things cleared up:

1. The library is implemented using JavaScript, so is it possible to
use Jabber with JavaScript without using a library such as xmpp4moz?

2. If I do use the library is it possible to package it up with a new
Firefox extension, rather than insisting a prerequisite of having
xmpp4moz installed?

3. Where can I go for more information on programming jabber using JavaScript?
