[jdev] Parsing server responses

Hi at all!
I'm having problems in receiving and parsing the server response. I'll 
try to explain me...
I send and receives xml messages to and from the server. When i send any 
  command to the server, it responses me. Ok. But the server stores the 
messages and it sends me past responses. Is the server configurable to 
remove sended messages?
And another question... Do you know any implemented (php) xml parser for 
the server responses?
