In case you hadn't heard, the XSF will participate in Google's Summer of 
Code again this year. I have just completed seriously edits to our SoC 
page here:

Further edits appreciated, though we should try to make that page stable 
before long so that students can write their applications (certainly by 
end of week).

For my next trick I will create an application template, then post an 
announcement at http://blog.xmpp.org/
