The remote users server needs to support the remote roster manipulation 
protocol im using which is basically the normal one with some added 
permissions management, i.e. when the user registers with the transport 
they have to grant permission to allow the transport to manipulate its 
items. So in practice only users running my server software can use the 
transport currently.
