Is there a forum for jabber developer? I'm really not comfortable using
mailing list format.

This book describes the architecture of jabberd14 (in version 1.4.1 or 
1.4.2 I think).

The general design is still valid for newer version of jabberd14.

Notes:
- jabberd2 is a completely different Jabber server.
- jabberd14 is also known as "jabberd version 1.4.x"
- jabberd2 is also known as "jabberd version 2.x"

Hey all,

I'm happy to announce that the first Open Source version of Spark (2.0)
is now available. Spark is an XMPP client targeted at business users.

We announced that Spark was going open source in June, released the code
in SVN in July, and now have the first binary release. Some of the major
new features:

 * Support for translations (English, Spanish and Portuguese available
so far).
 * XMPP URI support
 * Better Mac integration.
 * All new tabbed-chat implementation, improved notifications.
 * Numerous performance and UI improvements.

Also note there are a dozen other jabber servers now.  The landscape
is much different than it used to be.  Are you trying to learn in
general, or do you have some specific aims?  We might be able to help
direct your focus.

Coccinella does not yet support Ad-Hoc Commands and also next release will
not 
support it because there now is a feature freeze (though PEP and User Mood 
might still become part of Coccinella 0.9.14 B-) ).
