Or beter yet let the server do it with jabber:iq:gateway (XEP-0100,
section 6.3, item 1 and examples 54 and 55).
If you use jabber:iq:gateway, you really don't care what % or \40 is
going to be used. Just use the JID in the reply. One thing that
bothers me though, is that there is no reverse jabber:iq:gateway:
going from melo%simplicidade.org at msn.domain.org to
melo at simplicidade.org.
