[jdev] [ANN] Spark going Open Source

Hey all,

I'm pleased to announce that the Spark IM client is being made Open
Source under the LGPL. We're happy to join the ranks of the many other
excellent Open Source XMPP (Jabber) clients. :) 

We have lots of great things planned for future releases and will
continue to focus on what already makes Spark a great client: excellent
cross-platform support, close integration with Wildfire, and an easy
end-user experience.

Also, in case you missed it -- last week we released an easy to use
service to customize branding (logos, color schemes, and features) in
Spark: http://www.jivesoftware.com/skin.
