[jdev] new bie question

You right, I could simply modify an existing one, but I need to work
to something new because I'm now doing my thesis so I need a jabber
client for special purposes (I told about them later maybe) so I was
thinking that it will be better to start writing a new one that relay
on my own needs :)

But, What are the best java jabber client (I mean in documentation too) ?
