Hello Fernando,

We are seriously considering the patch but we are still wondering if
this is a good idea to integrate it in the standard distribution.

An option we are considering is generating a second version of the
installer that integrate the Flash patch support and will allow to give
the user the ability to use ejabberd with Flash easily. Flash 9 might
finally support normal socket et we might end up not needing this
modification.

Anyway, I have use the installer on several environment with success and
I am interesting in seeing what is causing trouble in your case (You can
send me your installer problem privately).

Thank you for your feedback !
