I got it to work now, not sure what the problem was but it is working now! :) 
I just deleted the install and reconfigured it again .. and now it works :)

I have briefly tested the application on jabber.no, see it her: 
http://www.jabber.no/en/chatroom (or rather here: http://www.jabber.no/muckl/)

The only problem I can see is that it does not work for me in IE, but it does 
on your test site for some reason.

The error is on line 472, character 2, error: needs object or something. The 
error is in norwegian so this is loosely translated.

Do you know what causes this error?

The only thing I have altered is the config.js, and you use binding and I use 
polling. Other than that I think it is all the same as on your test site.

Please advice :)
