One need to ask a question: Why would I even keep a contact with
subscription none or from in my roster?
- "from" - to allow others watch my presence. So the suggested,
separate "observers" group fits best (with the ability to hide it).
- "none" - the only reason I see, is as a "shortcut" for sending
messages to a person.
I'm not interested in person presence, but in exchanging messages - so
the natural way is to show the contact on my contact list.
(I like to think of a "contact list" as a current client's
representation of roster - it's not always 1:1).
