[jdev] Connection Manager development

Hi,

I'm developping a Jabber Connection Manager to reduce cpu load of
jabber servers, but the problem that I have it's I don't know which JEP
use between the jabber server and the connection manager... perhaps the
JEP 114
but my problem with this its how the server work with ? 
which protocol is used after the connection as component ?

Each client connection will have a connection ID between the only
socket with jabber server. How can I do the server know it ?
