[jdev] s2s TLS+SASL?

What's the status of support for server-to-server TLS and SASL in the 
various open-source server implementations? I'm especially interested in 
the combination of TLS and then SASL EXTERNAL for s2s in:

ejabberd
jabberd 1.x
jabberd 2.x
Jive Messenger
WPJabber

I know most of these servers don't support this feature yet, but is it 
on the roadmap?
