[jdev] Easy Learning Jabber Client Development

Hi all,
I am on my first step into Jabber world!! Last week I did a lot of internet 
search for finding an easy learning track to develop my own Jabber client 
using easy windows programming lang like VB6 (my favourite lang). It's 
obviuos that nobody willing to develop tutorials on how to code XML 
streaming and how to bit by bit talk to Jabber server. All I found is many 
libraries and Java codes. It is dificult to learn Java, C, C++ now. Could 
you please advise on where to start if I want to develop my own client on 
VB6?
