[jdev] Open src implemention of Jabber Client, which is best?

Dear all,
    Because of lack of video/audio chat fuctions in almost all open
source jabber Client, so I want to do it myself by extending a open
src jabber client.
    I need one written in java ,but in the jabber.org lists, I just
found jeti is not bad.
    Here anyone have done something like what i'm planning to do ?
    Any advise is appreciated.
