[jdev] Thoughts on Interplanetary Jabber System ?

Hi guys,

i am just wondering if someone expenses thoughts on an interplanetary IM 
system, similar to the interplanetary Mail system:

I especially like this sentence:
" The primary problem is delivery of information in a reliable robust 
fashion, across links which, due to the limitations of light-speed 
communication, make it impossible to use conventional mail or file 
transfer protocols based on the TCP/IP standard."
