There have been a couple of different implementations I have come across but
most of the discussion has always focused around JEP-0111 (
http://www.jabber.org/jeps/jep-0111.html). Look back at the Jabber admin
archives a couple of months ago and you'll see a couple of different
discussions about this topic. I remember some stuff from Tipic and others.
