Danny,

I have been unifying various updates people have made to XIFF. Can you
provide some more details on which lines were upgraded?

I was successful, although I had to make a few changes to the XIFF library.
The main problem seemed to be with the ID generation classes.

Hello Daniel,

Yes I am happy to report that it does connect after some adjustments
are made to the roster class. I forgot the two lines however.

Daniel were you successful with Flex ????

The latest version of Jive Messenger does have some support for Flash. The
Jive Messenger forums do contain quite a number of entries on this and
should be quite helpful.

Also I found this
http://www.jivesoftware.com/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=13461&tstart=0

Because of the way Flash handles XML streams, Jive Messenger cannot
communicate with Flash clients yet. I've opened an issue in JIRA at
http://www.jivesoftware.org/issues/ to add this improvement to Jive
Messenger.

Looks like it remains true.
