jabberd2 also supports JEP-0114, no?

In fact, JEP-0114 describes a generalized component protocol that 
is supported by many Jabber/XMPP servers. The point of the protocol
documented in JEP-0114 was to move away from the internal API used
by and truly specific to jabberd 1.2 and jabberd 1.4.
