[jdev] Looking for a good Java API

Hi Jonathan,

I'm using the Smack extension for Service Discovery but also I'm using a
lower-level Packet Filter and Listener for the other messages that my
application passes around. The problem is that the packet filter is
rejecting Service Discovery messages so they never make it as far as
that extension. I don't want to have to handle those SD messages in my
own packet listener since that would defeat the purpose of using the
extension in the first place. I suspect that mixing a high-level
extension with a low-level filter/listener combo is the root of the
problem but I have no idea how to get round it.
