Hi,

if you know what you want to do, then you just start coding. You might
want to use one of the jabber libraries
(http://www.jabber.org/software/libraries.php). There are libraries for
many languages.

If you don't know yet, but you want to do something with Jabber then it
might help to read a Jabber book. They have code samples and they give
you an idea what can be done.
