Actually I've put this plans back again for a while. The reason why I
want to implement this is to get rid of WCS for JWChat. But I discovered
that I could also easily interface with HTTP Polling (where
implementations are available already).
So now I'm writing a JavaScript client library (similar to Net::Jabber)
first (which can interface to HTTP Polling and Binding). After that I'll
have another look at implementing a Http Binding Component.
But I think such a library could be of great benefit for the open jabber
world too ;-)
