JSO is definitely the more modern library (JabberBeans has been quiet
for a long time). I think there are some API docs to go along with JSO,
but you can ask on the JSO developers list.

That depends on the software license and whether you plan to make
changes to the library. JSO is LGPL so you should be OK.
