[jdev] Jabber Portlet

Hi all,

   I'm developing a J2EE aplicattion for my final proyect in computer science 
wich is a personal learning portal. I'm considering to use the portlet 
arquitecture and it would be great to use some kind con instant messaging in 
the system. I thought of jabber as my first option for this, but I don't know 
if there is any code implemented to use jabber as a portlet or as a web 
service. Does anyone know anything on this topic?
