[JDEV] Building CVS Jabberd2 on FreeBSD

I'm trying to build v2_0 tag of jabberd2 on FreeBSD 4.9. The ./bootstrap runs 
only with a couple of warnings, but they seem harmless. When I finally run 
configure, it craps out saying that it can't find ./ltconfig . ltconfig isn't 
being produced by the bootstrap script. Are additional tags required on FreeBSD 
to run libtoolize?

BTW, config.log didn't reveal anything insightful. All it says is that "libtool 
configured failed."
