You do not need anything special installed neither on server side nor on 
client side. You need just to enable tcp connection to X server running onto 
your client machine (RTFM of Sun's X) and make it auth connection from your 
linux box (RTF HOWTO - do not remember it's name. Try searching f.e. for 
"lbx").
